 Support elderly monks and Tibetan refugees

Elderly monks and Tibetan laypersons have done a lot of work to restore Gaden monastery in South India. The monastery has preserved religious customs and traditions mostly due to the insight of His Holiness Dalai Lama and efforts of the oldest monks. Some great Teachers worked really hard during that challenging period and taught students to keep the monastery alive.

We need funds for:

- Monthly medical treatment

- Providing food to monks and laypersons staying in the retirement home;

- Construction of the House of Care for elderly monks.

(The monastery intends to build the House of Care for elderly monks who are unable to independently cope with their daily routines due to their age. The House of Care will provide special treatment and good food for them.)
